Bounce Readiness has been built on a strong foundation of skills and experience in the areas of emergency management, critical incident management, business continuity and crisis management, developed over more than 20 years.

Having worked with multiple industries, small to medium organisations, government entities and the community, the Bounce team are passionate, particularly about working with higher risk industries to build a more resilient future.

Our Team

Cheryl Hambly


With over 20 years’ experience in the resilience space, Cheryl has passionately serviced a wide range of industries and work environments (including but not limited to education, aged care, residential facilities, government, utilities, financial services, and manufacturing) to become ready and more resilient to respond to emergencies and critical incidents.

During this time, Cheryl has established a set of specialised skills to effectively plan, coordinate, implement and analyse corporate and community resilience programs, fostering solutions in the areas of emergency management, critical incident management, business continuity and crisis management.

With a particular interest in the adult education industry, Cheryl has advanced her skills and experience in all aspects of designing and implementing programs tailored specifically to service this industry, from designing training needs analysis, designing and developing training solutions, facilitating workshops and training sessions, and designing and conducting assessments and exercises.

Adopting a pragmatic approach from start to finish, Cheryl is able to effectively lead the management and professional implementation of resilience programs for her clients.

Scott Cresswell

Manager, Resilience Services

Supported by his 8 years of consulting and facilitating in Emergency Management, and years of hands-on experience as Station Commander in the fire services, Scott brings a reputable wealth of skills and knowledge from a wide range of industries. Most recently, Scott has led the implementation of Emergency Management programs for schools, aged care, property, manufacturing and multi-tenanted buildings.

Scott understands the importance of responding effectively to the impact of emergencies, incidents and business disruptions, working by his philosophy “helping you to get your people home safe”. He confidently demonstrates this to clients supported by his level of specialised experience.

Scott has Diploma level qualifications in emergency management, leadership, and training and assessment, and recognises that building solid, long-term professional relationships is achieved through a mutual respect, effective communications and understanding of the client’s environment.
