Business Impact Analysis

A Business Impact Analysis (BIA) is an evaluation of the potential effects an interruption may have on business operations. Bounce can conduct your organisation’s BIAs to identify critical business functions, key organisational dependencies, recovery timeframes and resource requirements.

This process will assist in establishing effective disruption scenarios, recovery strategies and business continuity processes, and includes:

N

Facilitation of BIA meetings with key business unit managers

N

Conducting a threat assessment

N

Establishing risk scales for disruption purposes

N

Provision of a BIA report summarising key BIA information

N

Validation meeting to ensure outputs from BIA meetings are prioritised appropriately

N

Establishment of disruption scenarios for inclusion in the Business Continuity Plan

Threat Assessment

A business continuity Threat Assessment identifies key threats that may result in significant business disruptions to an organisation.

The process:

  • Identifies potential threats
  • Rates the likelihood and consequence of that threat
  • Documents existing control measures and residual risk rating.

The outputs from the Threat Assessment integrate with the Business Impact Analysis to identify disruption scenarios and the recovery strategies that are included in the Business Continuity Plan.

02. Site Preparedness

Evacuation Diagrams

Evacuation diagrams provide building / site occupants the information they require to evacuate in the event of an emergency.

Bounce provides professional, compliant evacuation diagrams for display in common areas of buildings and sites. The evacuation diagrams contain all elements required by Australian Standards, including the building layout, location of fire and emergency equipment, assembly area, egress routes and the ‘you are here’ locator. All diagrams will be oriented to the ‘you are here’ locator and are provided in A3 or A4 format in either landscape or portrait form.

03. Procedure Development

Resilience Policy

Policies to assist the organisational management of resilience programs (see below) ensuring a coherent understanding of what is required to be ready in case of an incident.

Resilience Plans

Resilience Plans outline the key steps for response teams to effectively manage incidents and disruptions.
These plans are customised, simple, practical and easy to use, allowing your team to focus on responding to an incident in an effective, coherent and cohesive way.

Bounce takes an interactive and consultative approach to build customised plans based on client requirements.

The process commences with an interactive workshop to discuss the resilience framework, organisational needs, and the tools to be tailored for the plan(s).

Plans are customised to include one or a combination of the following:

N

Emergency Response Plan

Used by the warden team, outlining key response processes to follow in the event of an emergency.

  • ‘Other people’ relocation plans such as residents and students
N
